CROSS CREW QUALIFICATION (CCQ) FROM A380 T0 A330
days
This course is designed to transition qualified pilots within the Airbus “Fly-by-Wire” family in accordance with the mandatory elements of the applicable Operational Suitability Data (OSD).
A CCQ course is a course which only addresses the differences between the base aircraft (A380) and thedifference aircraft (A330).
Pilots entering this course must be highly knowledgeable on base aircraft systems.
Pilots without a valid LPC on the base aircraft may be eligible for CCQ via a refresher program to be approved by their National Authority.
The Ground school part is only dedicated to difference study, but the final system test is identical to the one requiredfor a standard type rating course.
Note: Standard Transition courses are performed on a basic variant aircraft, the A330-200 Enhanced, which covers the A330 family (A330-200 / A330-300).
Evaluation during CBT phase: Evaluation during ground phase: on completion of this phase, a written multiple-choice examination will be completed. The minimum level required, to be declared proficient, is 75%.
Unsatisfactory Examination: Corrective action will be determined by the instructor in coordination with the Head of Training. The student will then undertake a ground examination.
